Special Set Hearings

After an action is set for a trial period, the Court may or, upon a timely motion by any party, must require the parties to appear for a pretrial conference.

If a case is ready for trial but has not been set by the Court, either party may file a notice for trial; parties may also contact the judicial assistant to seek non-jury trial time.

Request an emergency hearing in writing, stating the reason and the amount of time needed; for an urgent or emergency matter, contact the judicial assistant.

Cancellations

Court-set hearings may be cancelled only by the Court; party-scheduled hearings may be cancelled by immediately notifying the judicial assistant and filing and serving a notice of cancellation on the opposing counsel and any self-represented litigant.
