UMC / Motion Calendar
All Uniform Motion Calendar (UMC) hearings and hearings under 1 hour can be conducted via Zoom as per Division 38 procedures. Domestic Violence hearings and trials must be held in person beginning March 10, 2025.

Courtesy Copies
Courtesy copies of filed motions must be sent to the division email contemporaneously after filing with the Clerk of Court. Files such as letters or notes sent only to the Judicial Assistant are insufficient.

Zoom Hearings
Zoom hearing participants must remain on mute until their case is called, identify themselves by their first and last name, and uphold proper attire and decorum. Unauthorized recording of proceedings is prohibited.

Guardians Ad Litem may attend hearings via Zoom but must notify the Judicial Assistant ahead, unless otherwise ordered by the Court. Remote appearances for other parties or witnesses require a properly filed motion.
